FREE DOUGHNUTS that is what we were saying to the residents
at our community, as they drove by, this morning. Many of them were on their way to work,
however all were very appreciative. We handed out fresh doughnuts wrapped in
wax paper, juice from the grocery store, and wet wipes to clean their
hands. The kids were smiling and the
residents were happy. This is just one attempt
we are making to give back to the residents.
By give back and creating a since of happiness. This small treat is one
way to establish the service mind set among the staff and the residents.
If leadership is the establishment and execution of a vision
then, leaders must look for little ways to instill the values they are wanting to
change. It was once stated that leader
is spelled E.X.A.M.P.L.E. Look for ways to be the example if you want to
establish a value system wherever you are trying to lead.
